Firefighter Appeal

Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service is keen to ensure that their workforce reflects the local community they serve and so they welcome enquiries from all, no previous experience is necessary, but you will need:

  • A strong desire to support the local community
  • Enthusiasm for working as part of a team
  • A reasonable level of fitness
  • Live and work within a close distance to Looe fire station

The role is very rewarding, varied and always in the heart of the community, with the crew, trained and ready to respond to:

  • fires
  • road traffic collisions
  • flooding
  • any other emergency situation
