Old Bridge Surgery

LIVI

See a GP by video with LIVI.  Even at the weekend.

Patients of Old Bridge Surgery can now see a NHS GP by video using LIVI as long as you don’t require a physical examination.

LIVI operates during the week (7am-10pm) and at weekends (8am-4pm), and is available on a mobile or tablet, with patients able to be seen within minutes or up to 3 days in advance, for medical advice, prescriptions and referrals.

LIVI GPs are all GMC-registered NHS-GPs, who (with your consent) are able to access your medical records and give a considered, in-depth diagnosis based on the your medical history.

How to book an appointment:

  • Visit the app store on a mobile phone
  • Download the Livi App
  • Register with required details
  • On the ‘find your GP practice page’, search for and select registered GP practice
  • Click book an appointment
  • Answer a short series of questions regarding symptoms
  • Select appointment slot

Medical concerns Livi doctors can help with

For a list of conditions Livi GPs can treat please visit: www.livi.co.uk/medical-advice/all-condition

The Livi GP will only offer help for one health concern per appointment (unless there are clinical safety concerns). Livi can treat children from age 1+. However, if the patient booked is under 16 (ages 1-15) they would need to be in attendance with the legal guardian/parent.

Of course LIVI does not replace face-to-face consultations with Old Bridge Surgery, it’s really about offering access to GPs in the digital world, including access when we are closed.  Patients who struggle to get to the surgery due to work or family commitments, or those that are anxious or would prefer to see a GP via video rather than face-to-face are finding this service very useful.

Finally, this service is provided and hosted by LIVI, so any technical support (non-medical questions) should be directed to LIVI directly:  to reach LIVI by phone please call 020 3870 3029, alternatively they can be reached via email on [email protected].  For frequently asked questions and/or more information, visit their website by clicking here.
